I was tasked with creating a virtual machine to host WordPress. This involved fully installing the virtual machine from an ISO, then hardening the machine, installing the appropriate dependencies for WordPress (and itself), and creating accounts within WordPress.

I was responsibile for creating a three-tier network architecture to run SeedDMS within a load-balanced network on a cloud service provider. This was done with HAProxy. I identified four goals: security, speed, scalability, and reliability.

For a fictitious company, I set up a comprehensive network on a newly leased floor, completing it within four weeks. This involved designing a detailed LAN topology, selecting and configuring hardware and software, and organizing network devices into static IP groups. I ensured seamless network access and permissions setup for users, while collaborating closely with stakeholders (course instructor) to meet all requirements. Furthermore, a project case study was created. This involved working in a team to detail the important aspects of the project.
From Project and Portfolio IV course at Full Sail University.
I performed thorough research regarding IT and corporate governance, including their similarities and differences. This task also required me to identify success stories to better understand how governance can be implemented. Additionally, I was tasked with presenting this information to other classmates.

I researched and wrote a term paper on Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). The paper covers the history and founding reasons, modern solutions, proper implementation strategies, and their relevance to IT and cybersecurity. It includes detailed sections on the role of the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council and practical guidelines for compliance. The work is thoroughly supported by multiple sources.

I developed an Ansible script to provision two low-cost Digital Ocean Droplets and configure them with the necessary LAMP dependencies for the latest WordPress version. The script also customizes and deploys a wp-config.php file, automating much of the WordPress installation process. This project prioritizes ease of deployment over security hardening and is thoroughly documented with screenshots.
