I graduated from Clovis North High School in June of 2022. I was primarily involved in our school's robotics club, Team 6305. Starting as a member of the team, I worked to become the robotics team Shop Manager during my Sophomore year at Clovis North. During my Junior year, I was appointed Director of Build. Lastly, during my Senior year, I was appointed Co-Captain with another team member. The four years I spent at Clovis North taught me how to balance personal life, work (robotics, clubs, and other extracurriculars), school work/assignments, and personal enjoyment (video games, traveling, exploring).
I graduated from Full Sail University in June of 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Some of my favorite courses were: Computer Operating Systems, System Scripting Fundamentals, Cloud Networking, Automating Resource Deployment, and Data Storage Systems. Full Sail has allowed me to hone my IT skills and continue to use industry-relevant software like Microsoft 365, Windows Server 2019/2022, various Linux distros, inventory management solutions, table and tableless databases, and so much more. I have also furthered my professional skills with general education classes like Technical Writing, Career Readiness, and Technology in the Entertainment and Media Industries.
I spend the majority of my time either outside exploring or connecting with friends online. I enjoy video games, technology, and the outdoors. Exploring is a fun pastime to spend time away from technology. Otherwise, I am inside playing video games, connecting with friends through social media, or working to expand my understanding of the IT world. I enjoy researching and exploring rare/hard-to-solve issues posted on forums. From time to time, I will try to get out and give back to the community through volunteer opportunities. The IT industry is about helping others, which is something I am passionate about. I manage a home-server with functions connected to AWS and S3.
I also have a cat! Mr. Bixley enjoys spending his time lounging on the couch, under the bed, or under my office chair. While he usually stays out of mischief, he loves to scratch up any piece of furniture.
